Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol to serve and safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom locations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule with shifts including evenings and weekends, a starting pay of $18.73 per hour, and a supportive team culture focused on integrity and community safety.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a telecommunications and technology location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly operations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
