Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, you will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entry points and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain incident documentation.
• Report suspicious activity, damaged property, and hazards to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Rancho Cordova, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Report suspicious activity, damaged property, and security-related hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
