Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations and maintenance concerns with site personnel and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will use your experience and active DoD Secret Clearance to support a professional environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
