Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Communications Security Officer in San Francisco, CA. You will patrol residential areas, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

You will communicate professionally with residents and visitors while contributing to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.24 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:30 PM - 11:00 PMSun02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
