Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required as per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter incidents and identify concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and access activity using required tools.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailers, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and unusual conditions using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
