Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Care in Fairfax, VA. You will monitor facilities, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence and following site-specific policies.

Role is full-time with day and night shifts. The position offers on-site work, a focus on patient and staff safety, and opportunities for growth within a large security organization.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Care in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
