• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and grounds.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and reporting suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:45 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 02:45 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and response actions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
