Job Description

Security Officer Armed with Active Clearance Patrol Response in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and professional support while working as part of a collaborative team. Pay Rate: $28.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
