Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Security Clearance Patrol Risk Recognition in Falls Church, VA. This part-time role offers patrols, visible presence, and professional communication to deter incidents at aerospace/defense locations.

As a member of Allied Universal’s team, you will follow post orders, report incidents, and help maintain a welcoming environment while delivering customer service. Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and meet basic requirements.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• 18+ years for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles; driver license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and emergency response activities at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols and observations.

Pay Rate: $25.24 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and/or other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
