Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in ARLINGTON, VA. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service while maintaining security procedures. This role offers flexible shifts with pay at $26.27 per hour.

Responsibilities include badge verification, responding to incidents, and supporting a secure environment on site. Requires DoD Secret Clearance and at least 2 years in security.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Maintain awareness of changing site conditions and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
