Allied Universal in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Support to protect clients in financial institutions and other sites. You will monitor areas, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional service while using tablets or computers to support daily operations with a reliable team.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $22.75 per hour. You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, pass background checks and a drug screen.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Support in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
