As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, sales floor, stockroom areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Help to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other prohibited activity through a professional presence and timely reporting of observations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
