Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Louisville, KY. You will provide customer service, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with opportunities to grow through our shift-claiming platform and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency services.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations and security concerns to leadership and client representatives.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
