Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard in Louisville, KY. You will protect clients across various sectors, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document visitor and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs while maintaining security awareness at the location.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
