Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding our values.

This full-time role requires two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. CPR/First Aid are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the assigned location.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will work with a collaborative team while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
