Job summary

Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to serve clients at a financial institution. You will monitor entrances, patrolling exterior and interior areas, and provide friendly, professional service while upholding site procedures.

Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Client Service in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations using computer or tablet technology. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
