Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in HOUSTON, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and tenants with professional customer service. Pay Rate: $11.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, assisting authorized visitors and reporting unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
