Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer in Houston, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while supporting access control.

The role involves responding to alarms and incidents, preparing logs and reports, and coordinating with site contacts. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job location.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and in line with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and access points.
• Monitor access activity and report unauthorized entry attempts and hazards.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to remain visible, support access control activities, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access activity and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
