Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Control in Nashville, TN. You will protect clients across education and other environments, patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors in a people-first culture.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Control in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a university location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic spaces, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to designated personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
