Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and support badge and access control while delivering strong customer service to site personnel and visitors.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to safety procedures; you’ll join a team that values integrity, reliability, and community-focused service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and utility infrastructure to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while supporting continuity of operations at the location.

What You'll Do:
