As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Auditing in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, campus policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and communications accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with access control, directions, special events, and other campus support needs while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
