Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Monitoring) in Ashburn, VA. You will patrol a financial institution location, monitor alarms, control access, and provide professional customer service with a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or more.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds; alarm panel experience and access control/badge experience preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred where applicable.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of the location, including offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and shift handoffs per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide professional customer service. Job Schedule:

Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial services location, including office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
