• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site requirements.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $20.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and completely in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
