Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic team at our Jonestown, PA location as a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Authorization. You will monitor access, perform routine checks, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and partners.

This full-time role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background checks with drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic; verify visitor, driver, and contractor access according to site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine checks, help to deter incidents, and support access control. You will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and partners. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online resources effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
