Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Jonestown, PA. You will protect clients by patrolling facilities, monitor access, and provide courteous, professional service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged access controls, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Jonestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.
