Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in UXBRIDGE, MA. This role offers reliable, anchored shifts with the option to pick up additional hours through the scheduling platform, supporting income growth and hands-on experience in security services.

You will work a fixed weekly shift at a designated site, with a six‑month commitment, and may earn more by taking extra shifts across sites. This role emphasizes flexible scheduling and career progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, members, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting observations and maintaining required documentation.
• Support a professional retail environment by assisting with directions, responding to inquiries, and communicating with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in UXBRIDGE, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
