Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Camarillo, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service at a transportation-related location.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The schedule includes weekday day shifts, Monday through Friday, with specific start times. This position requires compliance with background checks and drug screenings where permitted by law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/delivery credentials per site procedures; maintain logs and reports.
• Communicate relevant information to site personnel and follow escalation procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, business perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe conditions that may require attention, communicate relevant information to site personnel, and follow established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
