Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and similar environments. You will patrol, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff.

This role offers a part-time schedule with specific daytime shifts and opportunities to advance through our claim-a-shift platform, plus customer service responsibilities and professional conduct expectations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• All allied universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to incidents.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to site contacts.
• Document incidents and complete required reports per site procedures.

Pay Rate: $22.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, sales floor, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Support a professional retail environment by documenting incidents and completing required reports in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
