Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) in Austin, TX. You will provide customer service, perform regular patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence for shoppers and tenants.

The position offers part-time hours with a driving component and requires a valid driver’s license. Prior loss prevention is preferred, and you may be subject to background checks and a drug screen.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, storefront perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and completely while maintaining a professional presence for Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
