As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Diberville, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and parking areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
