Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Gulfport, MS. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and drive to designated areas while maintaining a professional presence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
