Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Charlottesville, VA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to personnel and visitors.

Qualificações

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required; subject to laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify issues and concerns.
• Assist with enforcing site rules and documenting maintenance or facility concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Charlottesville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or security-related concerns.
• Assist with enforcing site rules, reporting maintenance or facility concerns, and completing required documentation using established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
