Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and document observations for leadership and contacts.
• Report maintenance concerns and security-related hazards observed during patrols.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Pay Rate: $18.33 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and other security-related conditions identified during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
