Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Experienced Full Time Weekdays in Richmond, VA. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time role covers Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a pay rate of $21.63 per hour. A background check and drug screen are required, and licensing may be needed by local laws.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activity while embodying our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
