Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; maintain records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner and document actions taken.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance needs, and policy violations to site management.

• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
