As a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site personnel, and support a professional environment for all occupants.

What You'll Do:
