Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed Monitor in Yuma, AZ. You will provide customer service, patrol the facility, and deter incidents while maintaining a visible, welcoming security presence.

Job Description

Security Officer - Unarmed Monitor in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Report maintenance, facility, and security-related concerns to the appropriate site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
