You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital in Simpsonville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Bring integrity, reliability, and a caring, team-focused approach to a role where you can make a meaningful difference.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
