Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, providing directions and assistance.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Hospital in Clinton, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
