Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Walterboro, SC. You will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, provide exceptional customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to protect patients, visitors, and staff.

Role is Full Time with a pay rate of $19.20 per hour and a schedule that includes night shifts. Training and growth opportunities are available in a collaborative environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Ability to lift over 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Walterboro, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with healthcare location policies, assisting with directions and access-related concerns as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
