Allied Universal, Cumberland, MD, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Grocery Store Patrol. This part-time role pays $19.00 per hour with weekend evening shifts (Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and perform routine unarmed patrols at a financial institution location. Minimum requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and eligibility for a background check and drug screening where

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity and report to site leadership.
• Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and communicate findings.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
