Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Warren, OH. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and report security concerns. Position type is part-time with evening shifts. You will work Wed, Thu, and Fri 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with opportunities to grow through our shift-claiming platform and training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license needed for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site conditions, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
