Job Description

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driverin Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and irregular conditions through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
