As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Verification in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and monitoring access points. You will provide courteous customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with location procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, access authorization, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to restricted or operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
