Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in South Chesterfield, VA. You will provide security, perform driving patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and background checks in accordance with laws. Compensation is $19.45 per hour with a standard shift schedule and opportunities for growth within a dynamic security

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine driving patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will report security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
