Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Site Patrol to protect clients at a financial site. You’ll perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service while following site procedures.

You will claim shifts via our platform, work a schedule including weekday mornings and evenings, and gain hands-on experience across financial environments.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies, and assist with emergency responses when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the financial institution setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
