Allied Universal in Sparks, NV is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Premises Patrol to protect clients across automotive logistics sites. You will conduct routine patrols, deter security incidents, and provide courteous service to employees, visitors, and customers.

Typical schedule includes DayTime Mon 12:30 PM - 07:30 PM and Sun 12:30 PM - 07:30 PM; pay rate is $25.00 per hour. This role offers flexible part-time hours and opportunities to advance through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an automotive logistics location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, loading zones, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
