Allied Universal in Sparks, NV is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Mobility to safeguard clients across utilities locations. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service.

This full-time role offers daytime shifts, where you will partner with a team to maintain a visible, responsive security presence and report activities according to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control activities. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
