Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Reynoldsburg, OH. This part-time role involves patrolling a retail location, providing excellent customer service to shoppers and staff, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential loss-prevention concerns, and other security-related issues, helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with store management, Allied Universal leadership, and local emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
