Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Reynoldsburg, OH. This role offers flexible fixed shifts at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a schedule of Daytime hours and anchor shifts designed for income stability and part-time convenience. The role involves customer service, regular patrols, incident response, and access control within a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter theft-related incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by communicating professionally with store personnel, visitors, and responding public agencies.

DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
